History
Apoyo Financiero, a microfinance company dedicated to providing loans to the underbanked community in the San Francisco Bay Area was established.
Financiera Independencia acquires 75% of Apoyo Financiero's shares with the goal of helping to expand our presence in the market. Apoyo Financiero then began to expand by opening the Oakland branch.
We opened doors in San Jose, Concord, and San Pablo.
We open in South San Francisco, Hayward, Santa Rosa, Napa, San Jose-Blossom Hill, Tracy, and Gilroy.
We open in Salinas, Sacramento, Modesto, and Woodland.
We open in Merced, San Rafael, San Bernardino, and Stockton.
We open in Bakersfield, Fresno, Corona, Riverside, Santa Ana, and Fontana.
We are currently able to serve you in more than 25 branches and have plans for expansion to serve more members of the underbanked community in California.
